There are no costs evolving from taking part in a clinical study. In many studies you will receive financial compensation and/or reimbursement of travel expenses.
In the course of study approval there will be an assessment of benefits and risks by the corresponding authority (e.g. ethic commission, Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices).
